MARAL YAZARLOO
Iran-born Dr Maral Yazarloo is an enterprising lady with an MBA and a PhD in Marketing under her belt. She heads Retail -Marketing at Panchshil Realty, one of India’s leading realty developers. Balancing her corporate career with an artistic streak, she has been painting since she was a child and has had five exhibitions showcasing her artwork on ceramic and canvas. She studied Design in Milan and forayed into her strong passion for Luxury & Fashion. Her eye for detail encouraged her to move on to designing clothes and jewelry and thus brand Ma/Ya (Maral Yazarloo) was born in Paris.
Maral made her debut as a fashion designer at a show in Paris and also showcased her collections in Rome, London, India and Dubai. Maral has also showcased her ceramic art and canvas paintings at five exhibitions in Iran and India. Her flagship store and design workshop are located in Pune, India.
Dr. Maral Yazarloo-Pattrick has been a speaker and panelist on industry forums that include the Retail Forum in Las Vegas, LFS (Luxury, Fashion & Style) Conclave in India and ADL Milan. She has also been a motivational speaker at forums that include TEDx SIUKirkee Pune, Virginia Commonwealth University of Qatar and Symbiosis International University. In February 2017, Dr. Maral Yazarloo-Pattrick received the ‘Pune’s Most Powerful’ award from Femina Magazine, India.

MARAL IS INFLUENCED through emotions, involving many aspects, from choosing the appropriate fabric and colours to elegant cuts and styles to suit the occasion. DRAWING INSPIRATION DURING HER travel history of 111 countries (in total) and her SOLO WORLD TOUR on her BIKE THROUGH 64 COUNTRIES. She says each and everything can inspire her, from nature to industrial sites to humans and animals. She often tries to communicate and send her massages through her designs ,her latest collection which she is working on is “save the planet”
In March 2017, Dr. Maral Yazarloo-Pattrick commenced a solo world biking tour across seven continents (Asia, Australia, North America, South America, Antarctica, Africa and Europe) with no backup or team. Maral is currently campaigning for Iranian women to get permission and licenses to ride motorbikes. She is also an advocate for awareness about rape and domestic violence on women.
Dr. Maral Yazarloo-Pattrick holds the record for the highest mileage on a super bike for ladies, with over 250,000 km. Her achievements in the biking world have earned her the title of the ‘Queen of Superbikes of India’.
